FORT WAYNE, Ind.—The University of Saint Francis invites young people in their 20s and 30s—of all faiths—to the Theology on Tap series, presented through the Catholic Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend.
The “Called by Name” series, planned by a local team of young adults, offers a weekly talk from a follower of faith, along with food, drink and fellowship. All are welcome.
The events take place at the USF Historic Woman’s Club, 402 W. Wayne St., and parking is available in the USF Robert Goldstine Performing Arts Center lot, 420 W. Berry St. Food and bar service begins at 6:30 p.m., with the program at 7 p.m., each Tuesday from Jan. 24 through Feb. 14. A closing Mass will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 21, in the St. Francis Chapel on the main USF campus, 2701 Spring Street, with food and drink afterward at Brookside mansion.

Tuesday, Jan. 24
Rev. Andrew Budzinski, pastor of St. John the Baptist parish in Fort Wayne and vocation director for the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend, will discuss how a relationship with the Lord is the root of people’s identity and how everything flows from this fount.
Identity and Mission
Tuesday, Jan. 31
Michael Dopp, who founded Mission of the Redeemer Ministries in addition to his involvement in numerous other ministries, will consider how Christians are all called to a mission to follow Jesus and make Jesus known to others.
Identity and Community
Tuesday, Feb. 7
Brittany Tull of Youth and Young Adult Ministry at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Granger, Indiana, will explore how people can seek out, find and build authentic community—centered on Christ—for themselves and others.
Friendships and Community
Tuesday, Feb. 14
Megan Quigley, assistant director of the USF Assisi Program for Discipleship and Leadership, will discuss how friendships and community form a basis for people’s lives in both everyday and eternal matters. She will invite a deeper reflection on how to set hopes and goals with friendships and community.
Closing Mass and Party
Tuesday, Feb. 21
The Theology on Tap series will conclude with a celebration of Holy Mass in the St. Francis Chapel at USF. Attendees can enjoy food and drink after the mass in the Brookside mansion.
