USF to Host Fishman Private Art Collection

FORT WAYNE, Ind. —The University of Saint Francis will be exhibiting pieces from Betty Fishman’s Private Art Collection from August 20 through October 21 in the Lupke Gallery, located inside the USF North Campus, 2702 Spring Street.
Over the past 15 years, Betty Fishman has donated dozens of artworks by local and national artists to the School of Creative Arts. This eclectic collection celebrates the diverse aesthetic that Betty has both as an artist and collector. Several works from her personal collection will also be displayed publicly for the first time and will be available for purchase with proceeds benefiting the Rick and Louise Cartwright Scholarship Fund.
In addition to the exhibit, an Artist Reception will be held on Thursday, September 13 from 5 p.m to 7 p.m. in the Lupke Gallery. This event is free and open to the public.
Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The University of Saint Francis is fully accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD).
