USF and Snider High School to Host Marching Band Competition

FORT WAYNE, Ind. — The University of Saint Francis and Snider High School will host the Parade of Champions invitational marching competition on Saturday, September 16.
The contest will begin at 11 a.m. and will be held at Bishop D’Arcy Stadium. Several area high school bands will compete for top honors, and the University of Saint Francis Marching Pride will perform in exhibition prior to the awards ceremony.
Admission is $7 for adults and $5 for students and senior citizens. Proceeds of the contest will go to fund music scholarships at the University of Saint Francis and help pay for the Snider Band’s trip to Disney World in December.
