USF to Host Ventures in Creativity Exhibition

FORT WAYNE, Ind. — The Fort Wayne Artists Guild and the University of Saint Francis School of Creative Arts present the 40th Annual Ventures in Creativity Juried Exhibition, July 8-August 18, at the Mimi and Ian Rolland Visual Art and Communication Center on the USF Main Campus, 2701 Spring Street. An opening reception with awards will take place on Saturday, July 8, 6-8 p.m., in the Weatherhead and Goldfish Galleries in the Rolland Center. Awards will be presented at 7 p.m.
This annual exhibit of local and regional artists showcases a variety of media including: oil, acrylic, pastel, graphite, watercolor and sculpture. The judge for this year’s exhibition is national landscape artist Carolyn Lewis. She is a signature member of the Oil Painters of America.
Regular gallery hours are Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturday, 1-5 p.m.
